YouTube Shorts Script Generator

A Shorts script with the hook in the first three seconds and the answer before the middle.

  • 01Give it the question. Shorts are search-shaped. The thing somebody would type is the best input.
  • 02Hook, answer, close. The question in the first line, the answer by scene three, and a real ending.
  • 03Produce it. Hand the script to the generator and get a 9:16 Short with voice and captions.

A question works best. Shorts viewers arrived for an answer.

01

Shorts retention is decided in the middle

The mistake most Shorts scripts make is treating the format like TikTok: tease at the top and reveal at the end. A Shorts viewer usually arrived for a specific thing, and a video that withholds it is closed before the reveal.

So this shapes the script the other way round: the question in the first line, something worth staying for by scene three, and a final beat that reframes what you have just been told rather than asking for a subscription.

02

Written to be spoken, not read

Every line comes back short enough to say in one breath and to fit on one caption line. That is a production constraint disguised as a style rule — a long sentence forces a caption to wrap into three lines, which on a phone covers the picture.

If you produce the Short with Veedio, those same lines become the scene split, and the captions are timed to the voice’s own word alignment rather than spread evenly across the scene.

Questions

How is this different from the general script generator?

The shape. This one puts the answer near the front and keeps every line to one caption width, because that is what holds a Shorts viewer. The general one is tuned for TikTok-style openings.

How long will the Short be?

Six scenes, about 40 to 55 seconds spoken. YouTube treats vertical videos under a minute as Shorts, so that is the target.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free one, and it needs no card. The script costs the account nothing; rendering it into a video spends from the 60 free credits it comes with.

Will it write the title too?

The script comes with a working title. Titles are worth more attention than that — write several and pick, because on Shorts the title is doing as much work as the hook.

Can it do a series?

Run it once per question. If you want that automated, Auto-Mode in the app takes a subject and a cadence and is told not to repeat titles it has already used.

Is there a rate limit?

A few runs an hour per account. It is a free tool, not an API, and the limit is what keeps it free.
