Veedio

Every competitor fact sourced and dated

The best AI video generators for teachers, side by side

Six tools for a teacher who needs a lesson video, a recap or a starter for class: what each one is built around, what it costs to start, whether your own notes or recordings can go in, which languages and voices it has and whether a presenter comes into it — every competitor cell taken from our dated, sourced comparison with that company. We make Veedio, so it is in here; there are no ratings and no overall winner, because they do not do the same job.

Who each one is for

Pick by what you start from

A document or a recorded lesson, a language class, animated characters, the newest models, a lesson you filmed yourself, or a topic and your notes. Each of these is the right answer for some teacher.

  • Veedio (ours)

Teachers who want a short narrated lesson, recap or starter written from a topic or their own notes, read and corrected before it renders, and downloaded as an MP4 for class. Not for labelled diagrams, editing a recorded lesson, or videos longer than 3 minutes.

  • Pictory

Teachers with material that already exists — a document, a blog post or a recorded lesson — who want it turned into video from a large stock library.

  • Fliki

Language teachers and multilingual classrooms where the choice of voice and accent matters more than the pictures.

  • Steve AI

Teachers who want animated characters or avatars, several video styles and a free plan to start, in one studio.

  • InVideo

A department or school media team that wants the newest video models and stock footage, and will shape each video by hand.

  • VEED

Teachers who record their own lessons and want to trim them and add subtitles that download as a file, in the browser.

What each Veedio plan makes in a month

Billed monthly, no annual plans. A typical short is five scenes; AI motion costs more per scene than stills, and the cost is on the button before you generate. Each scene is an illustration of the idea, not a labelled diagram, so use Veedio for starters, recaps and one-idea lessons rather than for reading a graph.

  • Mini$7/month

    ≈ 15 videos a month with stills, ≈ 2 with AI motion

  • Starter$19/month

    ≈ 46 videos a month with stills, ≈ 8 with AI motion

  • Pro$49/month

    ≈ 153 videos a month with stills, ≈ 29 with AI motion

  • Studio$149/month

    ≈ 576 videos a month with stills, ≈ 110 with AI motion

Questions

About choosing an AI video generator for teaching

What is the best AI video generator for teachers?

It depends on what you start from. If you already have a document or a recorded lesson, Pictory takes both as input. If the voice and the language matter most, Fliki lists 80+ languages and thousands of voices. For animated characters, avatars and a free plan, Steve AI. For the newest video models and stock footage, InVideo. For editing a lesson you filmed and downloading its subtitles, VEED. For a short narrated lesson written from a topic or your own notes, which you read before it renders, that is what Veedio is built for. We make Veedio, so read our row with that in mind; every other row comes from our dated, sourced comparison with that company.

Will the facts in an AI lesson video be accurate?

Check every one, whichever tool you use. On Veedio: The script comes from a language model’s general knowledge: dependable for settled, textbook material and not to be trusted on anything recent or contested. You read every line before a frame is drawn, and you can correct or replace any of it at no cost. To be sure, paste your own notes and say to keep your facts.

Can I use a lesson I have already recorded?

Not on Veedio: no video or audio goes in on any plan, and every video is built from text, a link or an uploaded PDF. Of the others, Pictory lists an uploaded recording as an input, VEED is an editor built around footage you bring, and Steve AI lists audio to video from an MP3 or WAV.

Can I put the video in Google Classroom or my LMS?

It makes a video file, not a course: there are no quizzes, no SCORM package and no completion tracking. Download the 1080p MP4 and upload it to your LMS, intranet or shared drive, or play it from a laptop. Students do not need an account to watch it.

How long does a lesson video take to make, and how long can it be?

On Veedio the script comes back first, one line per scene, for you to read and correct; the render then takes a few minutes. Videos stop at 3 minutes, so a longer lesson works better as a short series.

Where do these facts come from, and when?
