The best faceless AI video generators for YouTube, side by side

Six tools for a YouTube channel where your face never appears: what each one makes, what it costs to start, whether an avatar or a face comes into it, whether it posts to YouTube and how long a video can be — every competitor cell from that company’s own pages. We make Veedio, so it is in here; there are no ratings and no overall winner, because they do not do the same job.

Who each one is for

Pick by the videos your channel makes

Long landscape uploads, Reddit-story Shorts, one series on autopilot, a studio of models, or a narrated Short from a prompt. Each of these is the right answer for someone.

  • Veedio (ours)

Faceless Shorts channels, and short landscape videos, that want the video written, voiced, captioned and posted from one place, month to month. Not for uploads longer than 3 minutes.

  • Revid

Faceless creators who want a large catalogue of formats, viral-video remixing and avatars, and do not mind a $39 entry price.

  • Faceless.video

Someone who wants one faceless Shorts series running on autopilot with the least setup.

  • Pictory

Faceless channels that publish longer landscape videos — explainers, listicles, narrated articles — not only Shorts.

  • InVideo

Creators who want many models and a full editor in one subscription and will shape each video by hand.

  • Crayo

Channels built on Reddit-story, text-message and gameplay-style Shorts, made in volume.

What each Veedio plan makes in a month

Billed monthly, no annual plans. A typical short is five scenes; AI motion costs more per scene than stills, and the cost is on the button before you generate.

  • Mini$7/month

    ≈ 15 videos a month with stills, ≈ 2 with AI motion

  • Starter$19/month

    ≈ 46 videos a month with stills, ≈ 8 with AI motion

  • Pro$49/month

    ≈ 153 videos a month with stills, ≈ 29 with AI motion

  • Studio$149/month

    ≈ 576 videos a month with stills, ≈ 110 with AI motion

Questions

About choosing a faceless AI video generator for YouTube

What is the best faceless AI video generator for YouTube?

It depends on the videos your channel makes. For longer landscape uploads built from a script or an article, Pictory makes videos up to 30 minutes on its paid plans. For Reddit-story and text-message Shorts in volume, Crayo is built around those formats. For one series that posts itself, Faceless.video. For a wide catalogue with avatars and remixing, Revid. For a full editor with many models, InVideo. For a narrated, captioned Short or short landscape video made and posted from one prompt, that is what Veedio is built for. We make Veedio, so read our row with that in mind — every other row is from that company’s own pages.

Can I make long YouTube videos with these, or only Shorts?

Of the six, Pictory is the one whose pricing page states long videos: up to 30 minutes from a script or URL on paid plans. Veedio stops at 3 minutes per video, though it can render in 16:9 landscape. Revid, Faceless.video and Crayo describe short-form video, and InVideo does not state a per-video length on its pricing page.

Does a faceless video generator need an AI avatar?

No. A faceless video is usually narration over visuals — generated images, stock footage or motion clips — with captions. Several of these tools also offer avatars (Revid and Pictory list them; Veedio has optional hosted presenters on its upper plans), but none of them requires one. If your channel’s point is that no face is on screen, leave them off.

Which ones post straight to YouTube?

Revid lists publishing to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube on Growth. Faceless.video says each series can automatically post to one TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account. Veedio publishes to all three on every plan. Pictory’s pricing page says “publish everywhere” without naming platforms, and the InVideo and Crayo pricing pages do not mention publishing, so check with them if it matters to you.

Can a faceless AI channel be monetised on YouTube?

YouTube decides that, not the tool. Its monetisation policies are aimed at mass-produced, repetitive content, so a faceless channel that says something specific and accurate in every video is in a different place from one that posts near-identical clips. No tool here can promise views, subscribers or income, and we don’t either.
