Veedio vs Revid

Revid is the best-known product in this category and it is genuinely good. This page is written to be useful rather than flattering: their numbers are the ones they publish, dated and unaudited, and there is a section below about the six things they do better than us.

100,000+

videos rendered on Revid per month, by their own count

30,000+

videos published to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube per month, by the same count

Both figures are on their own homepage, and putting them next to each other is the most interesting thing on it: roughly two out of every three videos made there never reach an audience. That is not a criticism of their generator — it is the best in the category. It is what happens when making a video and posting one are two different jobs, and it is true of this whole industry.

It is also the only thing we are trying to be better at. A video that renders and never posts cost you money and taught you nothing, which is why the number we watch is not signups or renders but first published video — and why publishing and post stats are on the free credits rather than behind a tier.

Be honest first

Six things Revid does better than us

If any of these matter to you, they are the better purchase and this is the paragraph that says so.

Voices

70+ voiceover languages, 100+ caption languages and voice cloning from their $89 tier. We narrate 29 languages, but with five voices in all of them. If you want a voice that sounds like a specific person, or ten of them, this is not close.

Discovery

A searchable corpus of 3M+ viral videos. Ours is the YouTube Data API’s free quota and your own published results — useful, and a fraction of that.

Model breadth

Sora 2, Veo 3, Seedance up to 4K, MiniMax H3, avatars, face swap and voice cloning, each priced per five seconds. We have one image model, four clip models, one voice model and 4 hosted presenters whose faces are not yours, and we render 1080p.

Uploads

They take media, PDFs and audio as source material. We take a picture or a PDF as a source and nothing else — no video, no audio — so anything that starts from footage or a recording you already have is theirs.

Length

They do longer formats and 4K. We stop at three minutes — one on a free account — and render 1080-class.

Track record

A published Trustpilot score from 301 reviews, and a founder who has been building in public for years. We are new and have neither.

Where we are ahead

Five things we would rather be judged on

Timing taken from the audio

Scene length is the narration’s real duration and captions are burned from the voice model’s own character alignment. Nothing drifts, because nothing is estimated.

Fixing a scene is free

Rewrite a line, regenerate that scene, spend nothing. The fix for a bad result should never cost the same as the result.

Price and honesty about it

$19 entry against $39, no watermark on any plan, and no permanently struck-through price — a discount that never expires is not a discount.

Credits that mean something

A base cost plus a per-scene cost, because a scene is a voice call plus an image. You are quoted before you spend and the deposit is reconciled once the script exists.

An agent surface on every plan

The REST API, the MCP server and the CLI work on the free credits and on Starter. Ours is narrower than theirs — six MCP tools against fourteen — and it is not gated behind a tier.

Feature and pricing details checked 15 September 2026 on Revid’s own pages: revid.ai/pricing, /llm/revid-ai-pricing-plans.md (tiers, annual prices, booster packs, Auto-Mode workers), /llm/revid-ai-credit-costs.md (the model roster and what each one costs) and /faq-for-llms.md (caption presets, publishing destinations, MCP tools). Their pricing page and their own pricing document do not agree about the tiers, so both are cited. Spotted something outdated? Email us and we will fix it.

What Veedio loses at, whoever you compare us to

  • Five voices, and that is the entire catalogue. They narrate 29 languages, but there is no cloning, no accent picker and no second voice to pick for a different niche.
  • No video or audio goes in. Footage you already filmed cannot be captioned, clipped, dubbed or repurposed — an image or a PDF can be uploaded as a *source*, but the video is always built from scratch.
  • No 4K. Every render is 1080-class, and there are four caption styles — bold, highlight, subtle, none — all burned in, with no subtitle file and no custom font.
  • Three minutes is the ceiling, and one minute on a free account. No face swap, no voice cloning, no translation of an existing video. Presenter scenes pick from a roster of 4 hosted faces on Pro and Studio — none of them is yours, and you cannot upload one.
  • No review score, because we are new. A made-up one is the fastest way to deserve a bad one.

Which one you should actually buy

Choose Revid if

  • You need many voices per language, or a cloned one.
  • You need your own face on screen, voice cloning or 4K.
  • You need to bring in a file: media, a PDF or audio.
  • Discovery over a large corpus is the feature you are buying.
  • You make videos longer than a minute.

Choose Veedio if

  • You want shorts posted, not just made.
  • You care about captions landing on the syllable.
  • You iterate — fixing one scene should not cost another credit.
  • $19 is the difference between trying this and not.
  • You would rather a tool told you what it cannot do.

Questions

Is Revid a good product?

Yes, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. They have a bigger model roster, 70+ voice languages, face swap and voice cloning, 4K, a three-million-video discovery corpus, uploads of every kind and a broader agent surface than ours. If those are what you need, buy Revid.

Where did these numbers come from?

Everything in the Revid column is from their own public pages, read on 15 September 2026: revid.ai/pricing, and the machine-readable documents they publish for language models at /llm/revid-ai-pricing-plans.md, /llm/revid-ai-credit-costs.md and /faq-for-llms.md. The sign-up dialog on their tool pages was seen by pressing Generate on 13 September 2026. Worth knowing: their pricing page renders three tiers and their own pricing document lists four, including an Elite tier at $89 the page never shows, so this table quotes both. We have not audited any of it, and marketing figures are marketing figures.

What is the render-to-publish gap?

Revid publishes two figures side by side: 100,000+ videos rendered a month and 30,000+ published to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube a month. Roughly two in three videos made on their platform never reach an audience. It is an industry-wide problem rather than a criticism of them, and closing it is the thing we are actually building for.

Why is Veedio cheaper?

We do fewer things. No voice cloning, no 4K, no face swap, five voices against thousands, and a far smaller model roster — no Sora 2, no MiniMax, no Seedance 4K. Starter is $19 because it is a narrower product, not because we found a cheaper way to run the same one.

Do I get more videos per credit?

The unit is different, so a like-for-like comparison is not honest. Ours is a base cost plus a per-scene cost, because a scene is a text-to-speech call plus an image generation, and you see the estimate before you spend. A five-scene short is 13 credits with stills, and signup gives you 60.

Can I use both?

Nothing stops you, and for a multi-language channel it may be the right answer. Your videos are yours on both.

You used to say you had no API. What changed?

We shipped one. There is now a REST API at /api/v1, an MCP server with six tools at /api/mcp, and a CLI in the repository (not on npm yet), and all three work on every plan including the free credits. Revid still has the broader agent surface — fourteen MCP tools against our six — so that row is now even rather than ours.

Something here is out of date. What now?

Email hello@veedio.co and tell us what changed. A comparison page nobody corrects is one that is slowly becoming wrong, and we would rather fix it than be told about it in public.
