Every morning, I walk past the same grumpy squirrel on my way to school. He always tries to hide his nuts, but today was different.
He tried to carry a nut bigger than his head, wobbling down the sidewalk like a tiny furry bowling pin. It was hilarious!
Suddenly, the nut slipped, tumbled down the street, and landed right in front of Mrs. Higgins' prize-winning petunias. Gbam! What a crash!
The squirrel looked so shocked, like he'd just seen a ghost. Even I couldn't help but laugh out loud at his silly face and the scattered nut.
