Transcript

This giant tree eats every single day, but it doesn't visit any restaurants like you do. There's no chef making tiny leaf pancakes!

Instead, plants have a secret kitchen inside their leaves, where they use sunlight and water to make their own sugary food.

This amazing process is called photosynthesis! It’s how every green plant, from tiny grass to giant redwoods, grows big and strong.
