YouTube Shorts Hindi mein kaise banaye? AI Shorts in Hindi, start to finish

A good Hindi YouTube Short asks one question in the first two seconds and answers it in under thirty. Write four or five spoken Devanagari sentences, put the question on screen, narrate with a clear explainer voice, and end with a reason to follow. Fact, science, history and idiom Shorts suit AI well because the visuals illustrate rather than act. Title it in Hinglish so Roman-letter searches find it.

  • Veedio publishes 9:16 videos to YouTube Shorts directly from the app.
  • A 30-second, five-scene Short costs 13 credits with stills or 68 with AI motion.
  • Matilda (upbeat explainer) and Daniel (steady broadcaster) both narrate Hindi.
  • Documentary is the visual style built for factual, real-world looking scenes.
  • Captions are word-timed to the Hindi narration and burned into the video.

Which Hindi Shorts are a good fit for AI

AI-made Shorts are strongest where the voice does the explaining and the pictures illustrate: "क्यों" questions about science and everyday life, short history moments, the meaning of a मुहावरा, a two-line moral. They are weakest where a real face, a real place or a real product is the point. If your idea needs you on camera, film it.

Facts have one rule above all: they must be true. Hindi fact channels are full of invented numbers and miracle claims. Pick facts you can check in a school textbook or an encyclopedia, and leave out exact figures you cannot verify. A Short that is right and calm beats one that is loud and wrong, and it will not attract corrections in the comments.

The sample below answers a question every Indian child asks during the monsoon.

(30 seconds, 5 scenes)

5 scenes · about 30 seconds

  1. Scene 1

Visual: Documentary: huge white monsoon clouds over green rice fields in India, low-angle shot, bright afternoon light.

  2. Scene 2

Visual: Documentary: extreme close-up of fine mist drifting in sunlight, tiny droplets glowing, shallow depth of field.

  3. Scene 3

Visual: Documentary: heat shimmer rising over sunlit fields toward the clouds, a time-lapse feel of clouds slowly building upward.

  4. Scene 4

Visual: Documentary: dark grey clouds over a village, the first heavy drops hitting a dusty lane, people opening umbrellas.

  5. Scene 5

Visual: Documentary: a child at a window watching the rain, drops running down the glass, soft grey light.

English translation

1. Clouds are full of water. So why don't they fall down? 2. Because clouds are made of extremely small water droplets, so small you can't see them one by one. 3. Such light droplets fall very slowly, and warm air rising from the ground holds them up. 4. When these droplets join together and become big and heavy, the air can't hold them any more, and the rain begins. 5. So next time you watch the rain, remember: every drop made a long journey inside a cloud. Follow for more questions like this.

The last on-screen line teases the next Short ("Next question: why is the sea salty?"). It gives viewers a concrete reason to follow, and it gives you a series. Note that the script has no figures in it: the explanation is right without them.

Eight checkable Hindi Shorts ideas

Each one is a single question with an answer you can verify in a school science book. Write the script, then check every sentence before you generate.

Titles, posting and platform habits for Hindi Shorts

  • Title in Hinglish first, Devanagari second: "Badal kyun nahi girte? | बादल क्यों नहीं गिरते". Most search in India is typed in Roman letters.
  • Put the question on screen in the first frame. Many people scroll with the sound off until something makes them stop.
  • End with the next question, not a generic "like and subscribe". A series gives people a reason to come back.
  • TikTok is not available in India, so Hindi audiences there are on YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Publish to both from the app; the same 9:16 file fits.
  • Post on a pace you can sustain with checked facts. A gap is better than a wrong fact.
  • Keep each Short self-contained. Viewers arrive from the feed without having seen the last one.

Mistakes Hindi fact channels make

  • Invented statistics ("90% लोग नहीं जानते"). If you cannot source a number, leave it out.
  • Starting every video with "क्या आप जानते हैं". It is so common that viewers scroll past it; open on the question itself.
  • Health or medical claims presented as facts. Avoid them, or give only textbook-level information.
  • Using one generic stock look for every topic. Match the visual style to the subject: Documentary for nature, Claymation for idioms, 3D render for the body.
  • Repeating the same template with only the topic swapped, every day. Mass-produced repetitive content is not eligible for YouTube monetization under its inauthentic content policy.

FAQ

Questions people ask next

Hindi Shorts ke liye kaunsi voice best hai?

For facts, Matilda (upbeat explainer) or Daniel (steady broadcaster); for idioms and comedy, Chris or Roger; for history, Adam. All 20 voices speak Hindi, so play the same line in two and keep the one that sounds natural to you.

How long should a Hindi YouTube Short be?

30 seconds is right for a single question and answer. Use 60 seconds when the explanation has two steps. Shorts can now run up to three minutes, and Veedio makes up to 3 minutes, but most fact Shorts need far less.

Can AI Hindi Shorts be monetized?

They can be, if the channel meets the YouTube Partner Program rules and the content is original and adds value. Channels of near-identical, mass-produced videos are not eligible under the inauthentic content policy. Write each script properly.

Do I need to disclose that a Short is AI-made?

YouTube asks creators to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content, such as a scene that looks like real footage of a real event. An illustrated explainer in a 3D or claymation style generally does not look real, but documentary-style realism might. When in doubt, disclose.

Should captions be on for Hindi Shorts?

Yes. Burned-in Devanagari captions help viewers who watch muted and make the key words stick. Bold or Boxed suit Devanagari; Highlight works well for fact Shorts where one word at a time should stand out.

Can I make the same Short in Hindi and Tamil?

Yes. Make it in Hindi, then make it again with the language set to Tamil; the script writer rewrites it in Tamil. Check the Tamil version with a native speaker before you post.
