At 35,000 feet, Captain Harris received a chilling radio transmission: “Flight 217, descend immediately.” The voice sounded exactly like his, but air traffic control hadn't transmitted anything.
Seconds later, the radio crackled again: “Captain… you have thirty seconds.” His copilot stared, saying, “Sir… that's your voice.” Then the cockpit lights flickered ominously.
The aircraft's radar showed another plane directly ahead: same altitude, same speed, and the same flight number. An identical aircraft was closing in fast.
Through the windshield, Captain Harris saw himself sitting in the other cockpit, smiling. Then both aircraft disappeared from radar, leaving no trace of either plane.
