Every morning, the antique doll sat on the shelf, a gift from her father before he passed. But something always felt off.
She'd leave it facing the window, but return to find its head turned slightly towards the bedroom door, just enough to notice.
One afternoon, she decided to test it. She set up her old camcorder, pointing directly at the doll, and left the room.
The footage showed nothing for hours. Then, a faint click, and the doll's head slowly rotated, its gaze locking onto the camera.
