Honest comparison · facts checked 6 September 2026

Veedio vsFliki

Fliki is voice-first: thousands of voices in eighty-plus languages, over slideshow-style visuals. Veedio is visual-first — five voices that narrate 29 languages — and does not gate the output.

Everything in Fliki’s column comes from their own public pages, read on 6 September 2026 and linked at the bottom of this page, so you can check every claim yourself. We have not audited any of it.

The voice comparison is a rout and there is no point dressing it up. Fliki’s pricing page advertises 300 voices across 80+ languages on the free plan alone, 1,000 voices on Standard and 2,000+ on Premium. We have five. Those five do narrate 29 languages — pick one and the script is written in it and spoken in it — but five voices is five voices, and there is no cloning and no second option for a different niche. If voice variety is the feature you are buying, this comparison is over and the answer is Fliki.

Where the two products actually differ in philosophy is what happens around the voice. Fliki’s output is narration over matched imagery; ours is a frame generated per scene from that scene’s own sentence, with the scene’s length taken from the narration’s real duration. And there is one difference worth stating plainly: their pricing page shows the free plan as 720p with a Fliki watermark and commercial rights on paid plans only. Nothing about our output is gated by tier — no watermark, no resolution ceiling, and the videos are yours on the free credits.

Be honest first

What Fliki does better

Five things, unhedged. If any of them is what you are buying, they are the better purchase and this is the paragraph that says so.

Voices, at a scale we will never match

300 voices across 80+ languages on the free plan, 1,000 on Standard with 500 ultra-realistic, 2,000+ on Premium. We have five in total, and the same five whatever language you pick.

Eighty-plus languages, with a catalogue behind each

They cover more than twice the languages we do, and each one comes with a real choice of voices and accents. We narrate 29 languages with five voices; if yours is not among them, or the voice has to sound local, this decides it on its own.

Voice cloning and AI avatars

Both are listed on their paid tiers. We have presenter scenes on Pro and Studio — 4 hosted faces, one per video — but no way to bring your own face and no voice cloning, so a video that has to sound or look like a specific person is theirs.

A genuinely free tier that renders

Three credits a month at 720p with a watermark is a small amount, and it is a real render for nothing. Our free tier renders too — but only after you make an account.

An established product with a large voice catalogue

Managing thousands of voices across dozens of languages is real, sustained engineering, and it is the core of their product rather than a feature list.

And what we lose at, on every page

  • Five voices, and that is the entire catalogue. They narrate 29 languages, but there is no cloning, no accent picker and no second voice to pick for a different niche.
  • No video or audio goes in. Footage you already filmed cannot be captioned, clipped, dubbed or repurposed — an image or a PDF can be uploaded as a *source*, but the video is always built from scratch.
  • No 4K. Every render is 1080-class, and there are four caption styles — bold, highlight, subtle, none — all burned in, with no subtitle file and no custom font.
  • Three minutes is the ceiling, and one minute on a free account. No face swap, no voice cloning, no translation of an existing video. Presenter scenes pick from a roster of 4 hosted faces on Pro and Studio — none of them is yours, and you cannot upload one.
  • No review score, because we are new. A made-up one is the fastest way to deserve a bad one.

Where we are ahead

What Veedio does better

Nothing about the output is gated

No watermark on any plan including the free credits, no resolution ceiling by tier, and the videos are yours from the first one. Their pricing page puts a watermark on the free plan and commercial rights on paid plans only.

Visuals generated per line

A frame generated from that scene’s own sentence, with one style suffix across the video, rather than imagery matched to your narration from a library.

The script and the shot list cost nothing

A free account with no card gets you the script and the shot list on every tool page, and neither spends a credit. That is the part that decides whether the video is worth making.

Captions from the voice model’s alignment

Word timings come from the voice model’s own character alignment rather than from re-transcribing our own audio, so captions land on the syllable.

Publishing and stats included

Publish to TikTok, Reels and Shorts from the video’s own page and read views, likes, comments and shares back per post.

Questions

Is Veedio a Fliki alternative?

Only if the voice is not the thing you are buying. Their pricing page advertises 300 voices across 80+ languages on the free plan alone; we have five, which narrate 29 languages between them. That is a decisive loss on voice and there is no version of this page where it is not — what we are better at is the picture, the publishing and not gating the output.

Does Fliki watermark the free plan?

Their pricing page lists the free plan as 720p and “Includes Fliki watermark”, with commercial rights shown on paid plans. We do not watermark anything on any plan and the output is yours from the first video.

Which produces better visuals?

Different again. Fliki matches imagery to your narration; we generate a frame per scene from that scene’s own sentence with one consistent style across the video. For an idea rather than a place, generated usually looks more deliberate.

Where did these numbers come from?

Fliki’s own pricing page, read on 6 September 2026 and linked below. Their monthly prices were not shown as plain text on the page we read, so this page does not state them — check their pricing page for the current figures.

Can I use both?

Plenty of people would be right to. If one channel needs a particular voice or a language we do not narrate, Fliki is the answer for that one, and we may still be the answer for the channel where the visuals are the point.
