Veedio vsCrayo
Crayo is a toolkit for clippers and faceless channels: clip a video you already have, make Reddit or fake-text videos, and use every tool on every plan. Veedio makes one video at a time from your topic, shows you the script first, and starts at $7 a month.
Everything in Crayo’s column comes from their own public pages, read on 16 October 2026 and linked at the bottom of this page, so you can check every claim yourself. We have not audited any of it.
Crayo and Veedio both end in a captioned vertical video for TikTok, Shorts and Reels, and they start from different places. Crayo starts from the clip: drop in a file or a YouTube or TikTok link, pick one of its 15+ subtitle styles, and AutoClip cuts it — alongside one-credit workflows for Reddit videos and fake texts, and a long shelf of tools (voice changer, face swap, subtitle remover, background remover, downloaders) that its pricing page says come with every plan. Footage you already have is a job we cannot do at all, and on volume per dollar their plans are well ahead of ours.
Veedio starts from the topic. You say what the video is about, the script and the shot list come back before the render spends anything on the frames, you change what you want, and every scene is generated or matched to stock for that line. Then you publish it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts from the video’s own page. If you are clipping streams or podcasts, or making dozens of Reddit and text-message videos a week, read their column first. If you want to see and shape each new video before it exists, read ours.
Be honest first
What Crayo does better
Five things, unhedged. If any of them is what you are buying, they are the better purchase and this is the paragraph that says so.
Clips from a video you already have
Their homepage says to use any file or a YouTube or TikTok link, choose a subtitle style and generate. We take no video in at all — every Veedio video is built from scratch, so clipping existing footage is theirs.
Far more videos per dollar
Their Hobby plan is $13 a month billed yearly ($160) for 250 workflow credits, and their FAQ defines a workflow credit as one AI-generated video. Our Mini plan is $7 for 200 credits — about 15 five-scene videos — because each of ours generates every scene.
Every tool on every plan
Their pricing page says every plan includes all Crayo tools, and lists a voice changer, face swap, subtitle remover, speech enhancer, AI brainstorm, a YouTube and TikTok downloader and an advanced editor. We have none of those as separate tools.
Reddit and fake-text workflows, one credit each
Their plans table lists AutoClip, Reddit video, fake texts video and cut-and-crop as workflows, each a single credit. Those are formats their channel-style users make in bulk, and the price per video shows it.
15+ subtitle styles and a large user base
Their homepage offers 15+ viral subtitle styles and a web-based editor, and says 3.2M+ users worldwide. We have five caption styles and no user count to quote, because we are new.
And what we lose at, on every page
- Five voices, and that is the entire catalogue. They narrate 29 languages, but there is no cloning, no accent picker and no second voice to pick for a different niche.
- No video or audio goes in. Footage you already filmed cannot be captioned, clipped, dubbed or repurposed — an image or a PDF can be uploaded as a *source*, but the video is always built from scratch.
- No 4K. Every render is 1080-class, and there are five caption styles — bold, pop, highlight, subtle, none — all burned in, with no subtitle file and no custom font.
- Three minutes is the ceiling. No face swap, no voice cloning, no translation of an existing video. Presenter scenes pick from a roster of 4 hosted faces on Pro and Studio — none of them is yours, and you cannot upload one.
- No review score, because we are new. A made-up one is the fastest way to deserve a bad one.
Where we are ahead
What Veedio does better
The script before anything renders
On any plan, every tool page writes the real script and shot list for your topic before the render spends credits on frames, so you judge the writing first.
Every scene made for its own line
Each scene is a frame generated from that scene’s line, a stock clip matched to it, or AI motion — so the video is about your topic rather than a background loop under narration.
A 7-day money-back guarantee
Not for you? Email us within seven days of the first payment for a full refund. Their pricing FAQ says they do not offer refunds, and that a cancelled plan stays active until the end of the billing cycle.
Captions timed from the voice itself
Word timings come from the voice model’s own character alignment, because we generated the narration, so captions land on the syllable rather than near it.
Publish and read stats in one place
Publish to TikTok, Reels and Shorts from the video’s own page, and read each post’s views, likes, comments and shares back in the same place.

Is Veedio a Crayo alternative?
For making a new faceless short from a topic, yes. For clipping a video you already have, no — we take no video in. Crayo’s AutoClip, Reddit and fake-text workflows are built for volume; Veedio is built for one video at a time, with the script shown before the render.
Which is cheaper?
Per video, Crayo, by a wide margin: their Hobby plan is $13 a month billed yearly for 250 workflow credits, one credit per AI-generated video. Our Mini plan is $7 a month for 200 credits, about 15 five-scene videos, because every scene is generated. Neither plan’s credits roll over.
Can I get a refund on either one?
Their pricing FAQ says they do not offer refunds, and that a cancelled plan stays active until the end of the billing cycle. Veedio has a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment.
Can Veedio make Reddit story videos?
Yes — the Reddit story tool page turns a pasted story or an idea into a narrated, captioned vertical video. Crayo lists Reddit videos and fake texts as one-credit workflows on every plan, which is cheaper per video if that is all you make.
Where did these numbers come from?
Crayo’s own pricing page (plans and FAQ) and homepage, read on 16 October 2026 and linked below. We have not audited any of it and their plans change.
Try ours before you decide
