FAQ
Christmas video questions
What are good Christmas video ideas?
Cozy short stories for children, video greetings for family who live far away, a family year in review, short explainers on where a tradition comes from, holiday promos and opening hours for a local business, church and school invitations, and Christmas quizzes or would-you-rather videos. Every idea on this page comes with a prompt you can use as written.
Can I make a Christmas video without filming anything?
Yes. Pick an idea and press “Make this video”. Veedio turns the prompt into a narrated vertical video with a script, an AI voiceover, a festive scene for each beat and captions on every word. Nothing is filmed and nobody has to appear on camera. Edit the prompt first to add your own names, dates and details.
Can I use famous Christmas characters or songs?
Not in these videos. Characters from Christmas films, TV specials and adverts belong to someone, and so do most song recordings and lyrics. The ideas here use original characters, and Santa appears only as the traditional folk figure. That keeps the video yours to post.
Do these Christmas ideas work on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts?
Yes. The videos are vertical and short, which is the format all three use, so the same video can be posted to each. A greeting made for family can also be sent directly as a video message.
Does it cost anything?
Reading the ideas and copying the prompts is free. Turning a prompt into a finished video needs a Veedio plan. Plans from $7/month.
